Our 30 person team is preparing to travel to the Dominican Republic in July. We need your help! We’ve got a location on Harvard Street (Donald & Hannah Norman’s home) at which we can sell items during their block sale May 18 & 19.
What’s going unused at your house that you could let go of to help us go to the DR?
Amber Blodgett, 908-8017, & Paula Harabedian, 226-7737, are organizing the collection details. Please contact them if you have items to donate.
And be sure to stop by the day of the sale 739 E Harvard. We’ll have some fun food items to sell, too. You just might find a treasure or two there for yourself.

Here’s a few Snapshots from Our Kit Build Event!

What a great day! We still welcome contributions to pay for the contents of these kits to go to the Mahlalini Area Development Project in Swaziland. Send your contribution to First Presbyterian Church to the attention of Terry Jaurena.

You may be reading about famine in the Horn of Africa, or hearing about floods in Pakistan. Perhaps you’re concerned about rebuilding after fires, floods or tornadoes in the US or still have Japanese Tsunami victims on your heart?
Whenever and wherever we are happy to help you respond. We can receive and forward your gifts to either Mission Partners in the area or will search out appropriate Christian relief organizations meeting the needs about which you are concerned.
To designate any gift for this purpose, just make a note in your regular offering envelop or one from the pew rack. If you give through your online banking, just create a note for your contribution so we know your desires. For example: Famine Relief HOA; or Flood Relief Pakistan would be ways to direct your gifts.
You can always contact our Mission Director, Terry Jaurena if you have questions about how to direct your gifts. tjaurena@fpcfresno.org / 485-6460
