ArtHop October 6

Thursday, October 6, 2016 - 5:00pm-8:00pm (ended)

For October's ArtHop we will be featuring a variety of 15 quilts designed and quilded by 9 women who are a part of a Quilting Friends Group.

The friends vary in sewing/quilting experience. They have been learning together, encouraging each other, and sharing what they were working on for the last 15 years. While the quilting is the thread that brought them together, it is the sharing of each other's lives that enriches their time together. They sew, talk, go out to dinner, and share joys and sorrows as they create quilts for those they love. Quilting is love in action.

ArtHop is a program of the Fresno Arts Council. It happens Downtown Fresno on the 1st Thursday of every month. We are an official ArtHop Venue, with changing art exhibits in The Commons.

It's going to be fun here at M & Stanislaus - please join us!

We do this to engage with our community - to intersect with people where they like to hang out. Please consider joining this effort. Just participating in ArtHop downtown could be missional! Be a host/greeter in The Commons or on the sidewalk for either the 5-6:30 or 6:30-8 shift. We are looking for a few good men for the later shift each month.
