God Hears Our Prayers

We are a praying church and have a team of people working diligently to pray for the needs of our congregation, community and world. If you would like to have our team praying for particular needs, please fill-out the form with your information and requests.

Your message will go to a leader of our prayer team. It will be kept private within the membership of the prayer team and will not be made public to the entire congregation. Depending on the nature of the request, it could be brought to the attention of one of our pastors.

If your request requires only individual attention, please make an appointment with one of our pastors at 559-485-6460.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY, BIRTH TO 6TH GRADE

Click here to download the Tresure Chest Children’s Ministry brochure.

The Treasure Chest is Children’s Ministry, its rooms, its people and its message. It holds little treasures-in-the-rough while the gospel message is spoken into their lives. In partnership with parents and the greater church family Children’s Ministry commits to “storing up treasures in heaven”, equipping God’s little children to be salt and light to the world which they will inherit.

The mission of Children’s Ministry is to assist families to…

* Help children choose to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
* Train children to think biblically and respond biblically to their world.
* Train children to worship in Spirit and Truth
* Train children to understand their heritage in the Body of Christ and choose to take their place in it.

Children’s Ministry is committed to developing a carefully integrated program of spiritual formation that is driven by our passion to see this generation of children fulfill God’s purpose in the 21st century. We do not consider ourselves a childcare service on Sunday mornings! We believe we have a strong mandate from God to do all we can so that a child’s growing knowledge, discernment and wisdom lead to salvation through Jesus Christ and a life of obedience to God’s purpose.

The Children’s Ministries cover ages from birth through sixth grades.

Nursery - “When God wants a great work done…he has a baby born.”

–E.T. Sullivan

The nursery department believes babies are God’s most important business. The infant mind is absorbing knowledge and impressions of God and this world at an amazingly fast pace! We strive to nurture these tiny minds and hearts in our nursery environment.

Our loving volunteers are the first touch a baby receives of “church.” Prompt attention to physical needs, gentle times of play and snuggles convey to our babies that they are secure and loved by God and our church family. In order to minimize exposure to illness, toys are carefully cleaned after each service. We also request that babies with signs of illness remain with their parents.

The birth of each baby is celebrated with flowers, a home visit and meals for the family. We know that each new baby is the beginning of one of God’s great works and that we have been entrusted with a beautiful new treasure.

The Nursery is located downstairs in the Treasure Chest and is open on Sundays for both worship services and the education hour.

Preschool - “Plant the seeds of great ideas, and you will get great individuals.”

–Denis Waitley

The preschool department is dedicated to creating age-appropriate environments for children between the ages of 2 and 5 to absorb truths from the Word. Children begin with basic truths in the Discovery Class. When a child is determined to be ready by the director, after their third birthday, they are invited to join Godly Play. This is a unique space where children have a personal sanctuary experience that is designed to teach them about God through wonder and reverence, with opportunity to respond through art and storytelling in their own ways.
