First Pres Camping Trip
Where: Aspen Hollow Group Campgrounds
When: Friday though Sunday afternoon, August 6-8, 2010
Cost: Adults, $30,; Children 3-11, $15; Children 2 and under, no charge.
Maximum cost per family is $90.
Park Fee at entrance to Kings Canyon Nat’l Park: $20 for 1-7 days, $80 for year-long pass.
Food: All meals provided for, including utensils, plates, etc. Please make arrangements if you have special dietary needs or allergies.
Pets: Not recommended
RV: Not recommended. No electrical or water hookups or dumping, limited generator use.
Facilities: No electricity, no flush toilets, cinder block outhouses only.
Musical Instruments: Highly recommended!
Snacks: Bring your favorites to share!
Ice Chests and Stoves needed: If you can lend one, please write last name and phone number on it and bring to church Sunday July 24 or 31.
Potluck for Friday’s dinner (served promptly at 6 p.m.): Last name A-L, side dish. Last name M-Z, dessert.
Saturday Night will be a time of skits, stories, songs and s’mores around the campfire!
