Download the general permission form by clicking the link above to “cover” all youth events for the 2010-2011 school year. The form starts July 1, 2010 and goes through June 30, 2011. Simply fill the form and give it to Craig Blodgett at any youth event.
BIBLE STUDY! Bible Study on July 7th will be at the Steele’s house from 6:45-8:30pm. We are looking forward to what God is going to do IN an THROUGH us this summer and our Wednesday night Bible studies are a key component to facilitating God’s work in our lives. We will be done-done by 8:30pm, no later. And remember, eat dinner before you come. See you there!
Miniature Golf! Do you think you have what it takes to become the mini-golf pro of the First Pres. High School Youth Group? Come out to Blackbeard’s on Friday, July 9th from 4-7pm. Please bring money for mini-golf and for food afterwards. The mystery trophy awaits the winner!
Henna Tattoo and Tie-Dye Party! Henna is a plant-based dye that leaves a stain on the skin for up to 3 weeks. Make sure to get permission from your parents before getting a henna tattoo. We will be meeting at the Mozier’s house on Saturday, July 10th from 1-4:30pm. If you are interested in tie-dying, please bring at least one article of white or light colored clothing that is at least 60% cotton (this is a great chance to give new life to stained/dingy tees). Since both henna and tie-dye stain, do not wear your favorite outfit. For questions call Chantelle at 707-536-5728.
Beach/Bike Trip! This summer’s beach/bike trip will be Thursday, July 15th to Sunday, July 18th, so add this to your calendar. We will have great fellowship, great rides, salt water taffy, good food, and so much more. If you are not interested in biking, we still want you to come (though we encourage you to at least try riding one day). Below is the form. Please fill it out and bring your form and $75 to Sarah by Sunday, July 5th. Make sure to fill out a general permission slip for the 2010-2011 school year found above.
Student Leadership Application If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior and are interested in being on the student leadership team for the upcoming school year, please look at the commitments required to be a part of this team and the application. You need to consider this commitment with your parents and return your application signed by your parents and yourself. The applications are due to Craig Blodgett or Sarah Meisner by Sunday August 1st, 2010. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact Craig or Sarah.
