God Hears Our Prayers

We are a praying church and have a team of people working diligently to pray for the needs of our congregation, community and world. If you would like to have our team praying for particular needs, please fill-out the form with your information and requests.

Your message will go to a leader of our prayer team. It will be kept private within the membership of the prayer team and will not be made public to the entire congregation. Depending on the nature of the request, it could be brought to the attention of one of our pastors.

High School

Check out our Facebook group, “Water’s Edge” (http://www.facebook.com/groups/113249898797768/). There will be up to date information, pictures, and videos posted from the different events, camps, and trips. If you aren’t in the group feel free to join!

Super Bowl Party!

On February 5th, come over to the Norman’s house (David and Allison Norman that is) to witness the Giants beat the Patriots in Super Bowl 46. No need to worry if you aren’t into football because we will have games throughout the night. Oh, and of course there are the commercials. So come on out and join us at 3:00 o’clock at the Norman’s. Pick up is when the game ends which is usually around 7 p.m. There might even be a backyard game of football at halftime for those of you who aren’t into Madonna. There will also be a Chili Contest! Make your own chili and compete against the other students. The categories will include hottest/spiciest, chunkiest/heartiest, most colorful, healthiest, and possibly more. So go on and find your inner Rachel Ray. If you don’t want to make chili please bring something salty or some kind of dessert.

Bible Study

Bible Study will be at the Fink’s house this Wednesday, Feb. 1st. It is a Co-ed bible study. Bring friends to hear the testimonies of your fellow classmates and to play some fun relay games.

If you are on the Dominican Republic Team July 16-28, 2012 with Students International, and have not received an e-mail with some next steps on or near Jan. 18, we must not have your correct e-mail.  Fix that by e-mailing tjaurena@fpcfresno.org.

The e-mail gives these 4 next steps:

1.  Begin Praying for One Another

2.  Print Out, Sign and turn in the Wavier form connected to your Online Application with SI.  ASAP

3.  Communicate your Personal Financial Commitment to the team Costs through by Jan 29 and make your first of 4 payments by Feb 1.

4.  Begin your Passport Application if you do not have a currently valid passport by Feb 1.

Download the general permission form here. This will cover all youth events for the 2011-2012 school year. The form starts now and goes through August 30, 2012. Simply fill out the form and give it to Craig or another advisor at any youth event.
