We want to introduce you to the men, women, families and agencies we call our Local Mission Partners. Many of them would love your partnership in prayer or in service, either as a sometimes or regular volunteers.
Randy & Tina White live in the Lowell Neighborhood. Through InterVarsity, Randy is the director of the Ray Bakke Institute.
Nancy Donat lives in the Lowell Neighborhood serving through International Teams with Bethany Inner City Church.
Evangel Home is a multifacted ministry to women and children. FPC member Gerre Brenneman serves as the director.
Evangelicals for Social Action & Love, Inc mobilizes and equips churches to address many needs in our community. Alan Doswald serves as the executive director.
The Fresno Institute for Urban Leadership is a ministry of InterVarsity seeking the well being of the city. Phil Skei is the executive director, Beth Eckloff & Todd Minturn program directors, and Jackie Millan, administrator.
Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Ministries addresses the needs of refugee communities on many levels. Rev. Sharon Stanley is the director.
Bob Ditmar directs Fresno Urban Development, Inc. They involve neighbors & volunteers in home repair work: fences, roofs, garages & sometimes major rebuilding.
Hope Now for Youth helps gang members get jobs and oh so much more! You’ll notice FPC member Ralph York in this staff photo as well founder Roger Minassian.
The Maroa Home is a Christ-centered residential program helping drug & alcohol addicted men in an extended family atmosphere.
New Creation Ministries helps men & women struggling with sexual addiction or homosexuality discover healing for their broken sexuality through Jesus Christ. Russell Willingham is the executive director.
The Pregnancy Care Center provides testing, ultra sound and supportive services in order to provide alternatives to women who might otherwise choose an abortion. A great place to volunteer!
Prison Fellowship, founded by Chuck Colson, reaches out to prisoners, ex-prisoners & their families.
Youth for Christ seeks to share the Good News about Jesus in a way that is relevant to students. The Fresno-Madera YFC staff is lead by Executive Director Ed Kaczmarek. And yes, that’s Jameson White in the back row!
Marty & Joanie Martin are one of several families who choose to live in the Lowell Neighborhood who are a part of our congregation.
Matt & Beverly Ford are one of several families who choose to live in the Lowell Neighborhood and they live right next to the Blodgetts.
