Dear First Pres,

What a fantastic day we had Sunday! I’m so grateful for the Men’s Leadership Board and their work to host our Block Party in the parking lot. The food was great. The bounce house was epic. And the connection was just really, really good. Thanks to the many others who stepped in to help, as well.

Dear First Pres,

Just in case you missed it, our Block Party got rescheduled to this Sunday, May 2. And this week, there is no threat of rain. So, put on your sunscreen, bring your favorite lawn chair, and join us in the parking lot at noon for food, games, fellowship, and music. Once again, thanks so much to our Men’s Leadership Board (MLB) for putting this together for the whole church family. May the Lord use it to increase our love for one another and our neighborhood.

Dear First Pres,

Dear First Pres,

What a joy it is to have so many back together on Sunday mornings for worship. For those of you who are watching online, I’m so glad you’ve been able to stay connected with your church. And, if you are able, I truly encourage you to join us on Sunday mornings in-person.

Dear First Pres,

Happy Easter! It was certainly a happy day for me. What a joy to see so many folks in our parking lot for our 10:45 worship celebration! Did you get sunburned? I did. But it was worth it. I’m so grateful for the many folks who helped to make our outdoor service possible. It was a wonderful experience. And, for those of you who watched online. I trust you wondered, “Is Jeremy ever going to cut his hair?” But much more importantly, I trust you experienced the joy of our Risen Lord in the wonderful time of worship. Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed!

Dear First Pres,

Dear First Pres,

Dear First Pres,

It’s time. Starting on Sunday, March 21, we are moving back to Level 4 of ministry engagement as a congregation. What does that mean? It means that we are starting to have our large group gatherings inside again while maintaining (for now) the safety protocols of wearing masks, keeping physical distance, and staying at or below 25% capacity of our rooms.

Dear First Pres,
