The video in worship on Sunday was inspiring to me.  You can see it on our Facebook page.  It reminded me of the stories I've heard and experienced over the years of people coming to church on Easter and having their lives turned upside down by an encounter with the Risen Christ.  I've seen entire families be changed when one member of the family surrenders his/her life to Jesus.  Would you please be asking the Lord this week to guide you in every conversation?  Perhaps he will put someone on your heart to invite to worship this weekend. If He does, make sure you obey Him.  It might the thing God uses to change the world.

I also want to encourage you to live fully into our Holy Week activities.  Thursday night at 7 p.m. is our Maundy Thursday service.  It'll be a wonderful time of worship and sacrament.  Then on Friday, at 12:10 p.m., we'll have a community Good Friday service.  Pastor Phil Skei, of Onramps Covenant Church, will give the message for this multi-denominational service.  I invite you to make both of these services a priority as we prepare for Easter Sunday.

I've come to love the rhythm of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday.  Each of these worship services and days plays an important part for me to truly celebrate and live in the reality of the death and resurrection of Jesus.  I hope they will be the same for you. He has paid the debt for you, Church; it is finished. God has raised Him up from the grave so that He can lead us forward by the Holy Spirit in His mission to the world. May we remember and celebrate with living hope.

See ya tomorrow night,
