We (your summer interns) would love to see you at the Pancake Breakfast before church service (at 8:15am) on Sunday, August 16 . Hope you can join us in celebrating how God has been at work this summer. We can't believe that the summer is almost over, with just one more Swim Study before school starts. We are thrilled to have spent the summer serving you all! The internship has been more of a blessing than we could have ever imagined and we'd like to share some highlights with you.
Hello, this is Rachel Benitez and I had the amazing opportunity to serve the junior high ministry, and every moment was such a blessing. My highlight from this summer was being able to hangout with the students. The students are so joy-filled and eager to be in fellowship and to learn about The Lord and so that made my job very fun.
Hey there, I am Amelia Morrow! My highlight is from Wednesday nights at Sr High Swim Studies. Having time each week to play games and talk to students really helped me feel a part of Water's Edge. I loved being able to share my testimony, the gospel, and work through some hard questions with the students. It was such a great opportunity for me to reflect on where God has me in my life, and to learn and process what His will is for me as a Christian in each season of my life.
Hi, this is Mark Jen. I have really enjoyed my time with high school students this summer. Some of my highlights included going to Avila beach for the day, hiking with the seniors in Kings Canyon, and having conversations that built relationship with the guys. It's my first time working with high school and I've really come to appreciate the depth, insight and personalities of each student.
