Dear First Pres,

Merry Christmas!  I can hardly wait to announce those words to all who are gathered here on Wednesday night. Remember, we have services at 4, 5:30, and 7. Each one is a little different, so read the details below to choose what is best for you. Then, please come. Let's join in giving our praise to God for the incredible gift of His birth; let's celebrate that there is joy to the world because of Christ.

When you come, remember that we'll have lots of guests. So, for you regular FPC'ers, I hope that you will consider yourself a host. That means making room in "your" pew, being friendly in the parking lot, introducing yourself to folks before and after the service, and keeping your eyes open for ways to help. Please also join me in praying for the people that we've invited to come. Let's pray that they have the courage to attend. Let's pray that they experience the redeeming transformation of Jesus. Let's pray that they come again.

Beloved, there is joy to the world because of Christ. I am praying also for you; I'm praying that you experience that joy as you come to realize afresh that He is a Savior born to you. Hallelujah! No matter what your circumstances now, may you to choose, like Habakkuk, to be joyful in God your Savior.

Blessings,

P.S. Don't forget.  On Sunday, December 28, we have two normally scheduled worship services (8:30 & 11).  And, any special year end gifts need to be to the office or postmarked by Dec. 31.
