Dear FPC,

I believe Saturday will be a very important day in the life of our congregation. I don't want to overestimate it, but I believe the work we have planned for the FPC Symposium on Saturday afternoon will be transformational. The Symposium is called "A Church that Heals." Our plan is to talk about the impact of particular trauma and hurt in the life of our congregation, do some work to grow in competencies needed for healing together, and roll out a new resource for ongoing healing in our congregation. It will be more like a workshop than a presentation. And, by God's grace, it will move us a little closer to the "whole measure of the fullness of Christ"(Eph 4:13).
Everyone in the congregation is invited to be there. No particular qualifications are required. From young adults to older adults, newcomers to oldtimers, those most impacted to those least impacted by the hurts in our past, all are encouraged to come.
We start at 4 pm, Saturday (February 23) in the Fellowship Hall, and we will end by 6 pm. I hope you will join us.
God is at work among us, friends. What a privilege it is to join Him in that work with you.

Blessings,
Jeremy
