Dear First Pres,

It was a very powerful weekend on the FPC campus.
We had an incredible hour of praise and thanksgiving on Saturday night. The sanctuary was full of people hungry - not just physically but also spiritually. It felt like the room was eager to connect with the Lord and give Him praise. And when that is the way a community enters the room, it is primed for the Holy Spirit to do a great work. I think all of us felt it.
I think it spilled over into Sunday morning as well. I’ve heard from many that there was a sense of God’s Spirit moving in our hearts powerfully together as we worshipped and remembered God’s grace in our baptisms.
But it wasn’t only happening on our campus. The high school group also had a powerful time up at Hume Lake for Winter Camp. I look forward to reading and hearing the stories as they continue to emerge.
God is on the move, Beloved. We shouldn’t be surprised. God is always on the move. But when we fast and pray, our souls often become more aware of God’s Spirit and more aligned with God’s mission. May it be so for FPC Fresno! Amen?
If you haven’t yet been able to attend one of the 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting services in our city, I really encourage you to make it a priority. You will be blessed. It’s one of the ways that you can be “with” Jesus in 2020 (like we talked about in Sunday’s sermon). When you are truly with Jesus, all of FPC wins.

Blessings,
Jeremy

P.S. Do you have a meaningful experience from these 21 Days that you'd like to share? Please email your story to Terry Jaurena.
