Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
This summer in worship we have been hearing messages from the Book of Acts on Gospel Confidence. This Sunday Pastor Lana will bring God’s Word to us about Confidence in Gathering.
Next week many of us from First Pres, Bethany Inner City Church, Hope Now Bible Church, Youth for Christ, On Ramps Covenant Church, World Impact, and Martin Park will gather here for City Bible Adventure to share with many children ages 3 to 6th grade the message of who God has created us to be and who we are together. The message shared each night will be WE ARE . . .
Wanted (Created for a Reason)
Valuable (In need of a Savior)
Lovable (Loved by God)
Needed (Gifted with a Purpose)
Charged (On Mission)
We will begin the evening with dinner together, gather for a time of worship through music and Bible story message, then disperse into tribes according to each child’s greatest interest: Arts/Crafts; Service/Hospitality/sign language; Dance/drama/music; Sports; Science; and Engineering/Construction. We gather together at the end of each night for a short time of singing, reinforcement of the night’s Bible truth, and prayer.
Please join us in praying that, as the Good News is shared next week, “a large number of disciples will be won” (Acts 14:21) and that we will “gather the church together and report all that God has done through us and how He has opened the door of faith” (Acts 14:27).
