Dear First Pres,
This Sunday is going to be a little different. No, we are not changing our summer services (at 8:30 & 10:15). But we are inviting everyone to participate in the Love Our Church event.
God has given us a wonderful campus in the heart of our city. One of the ways that we steward this good gift is by taking one Sunday a year to engage our congregation in its physical care. We show a little love to our campus (and custodians) by cleaning, dusting, resupplying, sanitizing, polishing, and any other necessary tasks. Not only does it help our church campus look its best, it’s a great way to connect with other folks in your church.
So, I encourage you to dress appropriately for some chores and plan to stick around for some special connect time as we love our church together.
