Dear First Pres,

Here are three reasons I believe every man in our church should do his best to attend the Men of Faith Conference March 29 - 30.

    1. Pastor Joe White is an excellent communicator with an important God-given message for us. I know some of you helped to raise Joe up in our church, but he's not "just a kid" any more. He is on the leading edge of developing a congregation that is truly making a huge impact in its neighborhood. I guarantee, if our hearts are open to it, God will use Joe to speak to our hearts in a powerful way.

    2. We need each other. Some of you guys are pretty tough, but none of you are made to live in isolation. The author of Hebrews wrote, "Do not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching" (Heb. 10:25). The Men of Faith Conference is an opportunity to encourage one another. And, even if you don't feel like you need it, come and be that encouragement to a brother.

    3. We have newcomers coming. I know of nearly 10 guys who are coming to the conference as their first (or almost first) experience with First Presbyterian Church. Have you ever brought a friend to meet all your buddies only to realize that your buddies didn't come? Let's not do that to the guys who have reached out to invite their non-FPC friends. Instead, let's work together to welcome those new friends really well.

    4. Okay, I have one more: This is how we work together to build an excellent Men's Ministry. I believe that every man in our church would say he hopes for FPC to have a strong Men's Ministry. Showing up to our Men of Faith Conference is one of the best ways for us to accomplish that together. A great men's ministry doesn't happen apart from you, men.

So, I invite you, men. Come be a part of the work God wants to do among the men of FPC. You can click HERE to sign up. I hope to see you there.

     Blessings,
     Jeremy

P.S. And women, mark your calendars for October 18-19, 2019. The Women's Conference is going to be crazy good this year!
