Over the past few months while we all have been sheltering in place our FPC kitchen received a much needed face-lift. FPC's very own Facilities Team of Torsten Grunberg, Fred Rodriguez & Nathan Crain have been hard at work to refresh our kitchen. Allan Knepper assisted with contractor communication.

The team has done a wonderful job renovating the place. The walls and ceilings all got a fresh coat of paint. The cabinets all got refinished with a fresh paint as well. All the storage in the kitchen got cleaned out and reorganized thanks to the help of Karon Chambers, Suzanne Kimball, Peter Jones & Jim Cousins. The flow of the kitchen is a lot more ergonomic and easy to follow.

There was also some much needed plumbing upkeep and repairs that took place. In addition the lighting got replaced with brighter, cleaner, and more energy efficient lights. When I walked in there I couldn't believe it was the same room! The lights and the fresh paint really breathe life into our FPC kitchen.

I noticed a few welcome additions to the kitchen. The old food warmer was replaced with a brand new serving counter by the window. They also added Instant Hot water at the culinary sink (no more waiting around for it to heat up).

Overall these renovations and additions to the FPC kitchen are a very welcome upgrade to the place. I am excited to see how many more people this kitchen will continue to bless just as it has all these years.
