There is a small group of specialists in FPC that may have escaped your notice. They refer to themselves as “The Cadre.” This group is composed of retired, for the most part, ordained Presbyterian pastors who have chosen to be a part of the FPC congregation. The Cadre is presently composed of Paul Armstrong, Roger Minassian, Steven Nilmeir, Aahmes Overton and Gary Van Brocklin.
Beginning in 2018 these fellows have cooperated in teaching the Bible as a part of the adult Christian education offerings. Thus far they have shared their talents in the Sunday morning classes, teaching through Mark, John and the Book of Acts. After the first of the year teaching will begin again with Paul’s epistles, starting with Galatians. Find us in “The Corner” at 9:40 am.
