I had a great experience at Hume Lake Winter Camp 2020. During my weekend at Hume, I grew closer to God and to the Rooted community. I really enjoyed the worship at every chapel time and at morning worship. I also loved cheering on our girls and boys teams in the Broom Hockey Tournament. Overall, it was an amazing weekend of growing closer to God and continuing to build relationships.

Winter camp was the best weekend of my senior year. I got to spend a lot of time with friends that I don't regularly see, and being able to reconnect was truly amazing. Getting to talk about what we learned from chapel was also really cool. We got to go into detail about what we heard and how we can relate to it. There was a great sense of love there and an even bigger sense that God is with all of us. It was the perfect last winter camp for me.

This year's winter camp was a super fun experience. Eagle and Child was an amazing band and I really connected to the worship music this year in a powerful way. I also really enjoyed hearing from the speaker and loved his messages every chapel. It was wonderful spending time with all the girls who went on the retreat and loved getting to know them and bonding with them. We all had really great cabin time and my counselor Devon did a great job leading our conversation. Overall, I was able to learn so much more about God and spend some awesome time in His presence with amazing girls who I was able to grow alongside.
