I'm Dianne McKneely and have served in Stephen Ministry for over three years.

Four years ago my husband and I joined the church, and we were seeking our place to serve. We were called and asked to consider a leadership position. After a time of prayer we knew this wasn't a fit for the new season in our life, yet thankful to be considered. Just a few months later Pastor Lana asked us to consider Stephen Ministry. I knew this was a good fit for me, and Jerry supported my decision.
I have found serving in this way has had an impact on my relationship with the Lord and His church. I know the Lord gives me grace to care for others. This is a very private way of ministering to someone whose heart is broken, seeking freedom from emotional pain, or in the process of grieving. He can bring healing while in the midst of simply sharing time together. Over these past years of care giving, I feel like I am drawing from the deep well of God’s love.

Offering one-on-one ministry is a valuable service to those in the church and in the community. I particularly appreciate the care and supervision of Stephen Ministry. I believe everyone would be blessed by how the Holy Spirit is revealed in the process of giving encouragement and support to someone in need.
