About our speaker ...

Beth Paz currently serves as the Executive Director of InterVarsity’s Fresno Institute for Urban Leadership (FIFUL). FIFUL equips and mobilizes students to become urban leaders to pursue transformation of America’s toughest neighborhoods. For the last 10 years Beth has dedicated her life to community transformation through urban ministry, neighborhood development, advocacy and leadership development. Her heart is to raise up leaders who will both announce and demonstrate the fullness of the Gospel message. She assists her husband with 701:United, a gym for inner-city youth and The Jephthah Prison Project, resourcing the Church in prison. Beth moved from Washington State to pursue a degree from Fresno Pacific University and graduated with her BA in English and InterCultural Studies. She and her husband Ivan reside in a beautiful neighborhood in downtown Fresno and live as missionaries and friends within a community of predominately Spanish-speaking neighbors and are members at First Presbyterian Church of Fresno.
