     If you're like me, your mailbox has been full lately of year-end appeal letters from the many wonderful organizations that you support. Here's the question: How do you decide which ones to support?  Each of them shares the important work that is being done in pursuit of the organization's goal; each of them asks you to consider a special year-end gift; and each of them appropriately gives thanks for your continued support. So, how do you determine your response?

Yet again, this week we are faced with the reality that we live in a world filled with evil. It is almost unfathomable to imagine the hate that must fill a person’s heart to motivate yesterday’s mass shooting at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino. My heart breaks for the loved ones of those killed yesterday; my heart breaks about the continuance of these kinds of scenes in our world.

      Last night was week 6 of Wednesday Nights @ FPC, and it was a great one. It has been so much fun to see the campus full of every generation in our church. I believe the Lord is really working among us; I believe that He is uniting us in the most important part of our purpose: making disciples. Praise the Lord.
