Welcome to our Children’s Ministry! It is our prayer and deepest desire that the Lord would use this ministry to help your child go deeper into God’s Word, grow in their relationship with Christ, and then be able to share the joy and love they have received from God with others.
We believe that parents are the primary disciplers of their children, and we desire to support you in this important responsibility. We provide materials for the parents to help disciple their children at home. Our Sunday School teachers are dedicated to sharing Christ through Bible lessons, activities, prayer and relationships. Our prayer is for each child to put their complete trust in Jesus so that they may be changed from the inside out. As a church we desire that each child would love Christ more every day, glorify Him in all that they do, say and think, and have a burden to share the love of Christ with others.
Check In Center
At FPC we endeavor to keep all children safe. One way we do its is to ask that every child sixth grade and younger be checked in each Sunday by a parent/guardian. The Check In computers are located on our patio right outside the Fellowship Hall and we will be glad to check in your child(ren) and help each child find their classroom.
Place the name badge on your child, and for Nursery to 2nd grade children, keep the dual pick up receipt, which you will present when picking up your child. Please pick up your child promptly. Some of our ministry team members teaching your children may need to pick up their own children and/or make their way to the sanctuary for worship. Thank you!
After your initial visit, you will have the option of filling out and submitting our Registration and Medical Information form. When this form is processed, you can check in your child at one of our check-in computers by typing the child's last name or the last four digits of your phone number.
For safety and security reasons, parents must remain on the premises during the time their child is in our care.
We ask parents/guardians to annually complete this Registration & Medical Release Form. It's required for students to participate in all CE (Children & Youth) events during the year (June 2018 to May 2019). We need one per student. It automatically submits to our office.
The nursery is located on the ground level across from the Fellowship Hall.
It is open to children from birth to age 2 on Sundays during both worship services and the education hour between services.
The nursery is staffed by a group of background checked volunteers who want to share the love of God with each and every child. Infants and toddlers enjoy age-appropriate toys that are sanitized after each service. We hope your child will enjoy his or her time as they take their first steps toward Jesus with us.
Children 2 Years up to 5 Years of Age
We have a dedicated team of trained Sunday School teachers who desire to teach God’s Word in a nurturing, fun and interactive environment as they pour into the lives of your children. Our Preschool Children’s Ministry is designed to assist parents in the spiritual training of their children. We are dedicated to teach God’s Word and love these little ones with the love of Christ. On Sunday mornings your child will participate in a Bible-based lesson, outside play, music, crafts, snacks, games and relationship building.
