This past Tuesday night we had our November Session meeting and I think it’s important to update you on our work for the future of FPC.

   This past Sunday I preached on Mark 4:1-20. I hope you’ll take a few moments today to reflect on these verses.

   I’m not sure I was as clear as I needed to be about the three sections of this passage and their three points. Let me break it down here.

Here are three important things I want you to remember.

   This morning at the Men’s Breakfast we heard from Doug Kulungu. Doug is the leader of Kulungu for Congo which is all about empowering Congo for a better future through Jesus Christ. But, most recently, Doug is also a congressman for the Democratic Republic of Congo. His father was voted into the position and Doug was simply listed as his assistant. But in the wake of his father’s death, Doug is taking his father’s seat.
