Please join me in rejoicing in God's goodness, and for providing an opportunity to help build His Kingdom.

The Vision: The Lord gave me the idea of creating a for-profit manufacturing company in 2010. The company is Elevate Technologies Corporation, but this is not a typical corporation. The company's purpose is to:Free the World's poor from economic and spiritual oppression for the Glory of Jesus Christ.

After several years of research and development, we are now selling and shipping our InteliEnergy® Smart Lamps, with patented technology that charges batteries via solar energy faster than any other product on the market; the lamps also charge USB devices.

As we are providing jobs in Fresno for those who have not had opportunities for work (in partnership with Neighborhood Thrift), our hopes and dreams are to partner with Christian ministries around the world who desire 1) to create economic development in their region, and 2) to have a sustainable source of income so that they do not have to rely on donations alone to support their ministries. And God, in His amazing ways, has orchestrated a connection in Uganda that fulfills all of these dreams.

God at Work: Last December, three of my daughters organized a pop-up Christmas boutique in Stockton, at the home of Tricia Gill. I was invited to sell lamps there and took advantage of the opportunity, more to hang out with my daughters than to sell lamps. When Tricia saw the lamps, she immediately thought of the ministry, I Live Again Uganda that she supports. I Live Again Uganda provides Christian counselling for the victims of war-torn Uganda. Through this ministry, people are experiencing incredible healing and coming to a relationship with Jesus Christ.

In August of this year, the two founders of I Live Again Uganda - Benson and Ruth Ocen - came to California for a much-needed vacation and stayed with Tricia. After they settled in for their stay, Tricia reminded Benson and Ruth about the InteliEnergy® Smart Lamps. When I received a call from Benson, I dropped everything to meet with them. During our first 5-hour meeting, Benson told me that in the month prior to their coming to California, his Board of Directors approved an initiative to create a for-profit company to generate income for their ministry to lessen their dependence on American and Canadian donations to fund their ministry. They also hoped that the company would somehow benefit the poorer population of Uganda.

After several more conversations with Benson and Ruth, and upon approval from their Board of Directors, I Live Again Uganda has decided to create a company to sell InteliEnergy® Smart Lamps.

To get this new company started, I Live Again Uganda has found a young man, Dennis, that is currently working in the small-system solar market in Uganda and has a college degree in Entrepreneurship. During a recent 2-hour meeting via Skype, Dennis expressed how impressed he was with the InteliEnergy® products and is excited to be part of this venture.

On December 4, my team (Michael Herrera, VP Marketing and Kristofer Rigsby, Regional Business Dev Mgr) and I will leave for a 10-day trip to Uganda to help this successful Christian Ministry set up a dealership selling InteliEnergy Smart Lamps. Together we will work to:
Free the World's poor from economic and spiritual oppression for the Glory of Jesus Christ.

You, Too, Can Participate: There are many details that still need to be settled. Please pray with us that The Lord's purposes will be accomplished in Uganda, and in Fresno.
